My Journey Into Nutrition

I didn’t choose this path - it kind of chose me.

At 13, I started getting painful periods and was told it was “just one of those things.” After years of being dismissed, endless doctors’ appointments and tests, I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis at 23 - via surgery.

While the diagnosis brought some relief, I still didn’t feel like myself. I struggled with skin breakouts, frequent sickness, low moods, severe eczema, and constant weight fluctuations. I felt like I was always chasing answers that never quite fit.

So, I took matters into my own hands. I watched every documentary, read every article, and fell deep into the world of food and wellness. I tried everything - vegetarianism, veganism, raw diets, fasting - and although I saw some improvements, I was still exhausted, frustrated, and confused.

Then came the pandemic. I was made redundant, and while it was scary, it gave me space to ask myself what I really wanted: to follow my passion for health and help others feel better too. I went part-time, retrained in nutrition and behaviour change, and for the first time, everything started to make sense. I learned the science, cut through the noise, and found balance.

Now in my 30s, I’ve finally reached a place where I feel good in my body and at peace with food - and I’m still learning every day. My mission is simple: to take everything I’ve been through and use it to help other people improve their health without overwhelm, shame, or restriction.

If you’re feeling stuck, I’ve been there - and I’d love to help you find your version of balance too.
